Crinum for Descanso Gardens

Crinum (Crinum x powellii ) is a deciduous, bulbous perenial. It forms large clusters of bulbs and can reach up to five feet tall when conditions are right. Blooms show from white to mid-pink from late summer through fall. It attract hummingbirds and is a common southern 'passalong plant'. The sap may irritate skin, and all parts cause severe indigestion if eaten.
