Society Garlic

Society Garlic (Tulberghia violacea) is a clumping perennial grown from rhizomes. It does well in sunny border, rock garden, or open garden. Its fragrant blooms appear in summer to fall in shades of purple. Some smaller species need special treatment in scree or trough. It is dormant in summer, needing little water.
